Travel and Transfers

The nearest airport that serves Les Gets is Geneva, which is just over an hour's drive from Les Gets (allow longer during peak periods). There are scheduled services to Geneva from many airports worldwide. Visit Geneva Airport Information for those airports served by airlines flying to Geneva and where the .pdf download "Vols de ligne" will give you up-to-date information on all flight times.  Lyon and Grenoble airports are both around two and a half hours away.

We are able to offer competitive rates for airport transfers thanks to our arrangements with a few of the local transfer companies. WE only use fully insured, fully licened vehicles to carry our guests. Please contact us for further information.

If driving from the airport to Les Gets, follow signs for France and then Chamonix Mont -Blanc via the A40 autoroute. Whether driving from the airport or all the way from home, you can leave the autoroute in two places:

(i) at junction 16 (Vallee Verte), which is the next junction after the Nangy toll. Follow signs for St. Jeoire and Samoens. In Taninges, turn left up the hill for Les Gets; or

(ii) at junction 18 (Cluses). After the Cluses toll, follow signs for Les Gets/Morzine. In Taninges, turn right at the junction opposite the Cafe Central and then turn left up the hill for Les Gets.

As an example, it can take at least 8 hours (but often more with rest stops) to drive from Calais to Les Gets and you may have to allow 10+ hours at peak holiday periods when the traffic can be very heavy.

We provide you with detailed directions to the property and with its precise address upon payment of the whole holiday price.

Travellers can also arrive by train at Cluses and take a taxi or a bus up the hill to Les Gets.
