Essential Information

About us and our quality service

Alpine Inspirations Limited is a ski holiday company based in Buckinghamshire, managing the holiday rental for sixteen self-catered chalets in Les Gets making us one of the largest self-catered tour operators in the area.

You may have been on self-catering chalet holidays where you arrive to a dark property, the curtains or shutters closed, heating off and beds unmade. You have probably had to fend for yourselves when it would be good to have had someone on hand to turn to for information and advice or if you need some real support.

Alpine Inspirations has an in-resort team like to ensure that our properties are always welcoming, at whatever hour of the day you arrive, with lights on if it is dark, as well as the heating on, and beds made up. If you know you will arrive after the shops close (usually at 7.30pm), you may wish to order our "Welcome Pack", as mentioned below. We try to ensure that the basics are already in stock also – a few tea bags, some coffee and a pint of milk make the first morning that little bit easier!

If we cannot be there to meet you on your arrival in Les Gets, we try and catch up with you during the week to say hello and make sure you have everything you need. You will have our resort representative's mobile phone number, so that you can contact us whenever you need any information or help. However, we also realise that part of the pleasure of a self-catering holiday is that the chalet is yours for the week, so we promise to stay out of your hair as much as possible.

We like to say goodbye too, and find out how you have enjoyed the property and your holiday. We welcome any constructive comments on the accommodation as, if something within our control can be improved, we like to know about it.

Within the price of the chalet rental price is our quality service, which includes:

  • Preparation of the property before you arrive, provision of linen (with beds made) and tea towels and, in the winter only, bath and hand towels (please note that, in the case of Chez Rose, separate towels or bathrobes are not provided for use in the sauna and you would need to provide your own).
  • Meeting you on arrival or afterwards (depending on the time of your arrival) to show you around and provide you with any information about the property or the resort that you may need.
  • Provision of basic essentials, such as oil, salt and pepper, milk, tea and coffee.
  • Provision of washing up liquid, dishcloths, dishwasher tablets, bin bags and cleaning materials

If you are expecting to arrive very late, we can provide a Welcome Pack with wine, bread, milk, butter or spread, jam or honey and fruit juice at additional cost.

We can also arrange breakfast delivery – just tell us in advance and we can arrange for a local baker to deliver bread and pastries each morning during your stay.

For any other information about our service, what we can arrange for you or assist you with and any complementary services available in resort, see the other pages within this Essential Information section, or feel free to get in touch.
